
BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
The Family Support Specialist (FSS) is responsible for initiating and maintaining regular and long-term (up to five years) contact/support with families. This activity will occur primarily within the family’s home; each visit should last for at least one hour. The interventions should be family-centered, strength-based, and directed at: establishing a trusting relationship; assisting in strengthening the parent-child relationship; assisting parents in improving their skills to optimize the home environment; improving the family support system; and increasing the family’s ability to problem solve and assume the role of advocate for themselves and their children.
The FSS worker will use reflective practice techniques in order to engage parents and explain the home visiting services to interested parents. The activities may also include identifying and referring for contact/appointments at other supportive agencies, including health care appointments. The FSS will also be responsible for assisting the family in establishing goals and a plan for accomplishment of those goals, as well as the assessment of the normal growth and development of the target child.
Family Support Specialists will receive required Healthy Families America Program training. Family Support Specialist will also receive training as Family Resource Specialist(FRS) and be responsible for completing the Parent Survey FROG with parents (prenatally and/or immediately after the birth of their child) to connect the family with needed resources and referrals. The home visitor must have good writing skills in order to complete the survey.

LCSW PROGRAM MANAGER
An experienced team builder and manager, the Clinical Manager reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for managing the provision of quality Home visiting program services delivered by a team of professional human service staff in a comprehensive, collaborative manner with an emphasis on family strengthening and child abuse prevention and parenting education.
The Clinical Manager develops, manages and reports on the activities of the program and its staff, and represents and promotes the Center by participating in various community activities and is a key leader in the overall management of the Agency. Provide administrative support in the areas of human resources to the Executive Director.
The Clinical Manager is responsible to communicate the vision, mission, values and strategic plan of the organization to employees and adherence to these by team members. The Clinical Program Manager (CPM) is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on management of the site, and is involved in planning, staffing, training, quality assurance, and evaluation. CPM is also responsible for ongoing collaboration with community/state partners, public relations, and maintaining positive working relationships with early childhood partners and providers.
The Clinical Program Manager provides supervision to program supervisors. The CPM receives regular supervision support and work closely with the Executive Director according to the personnel policies and in accordance with the Program Standards. Clinical program managers may also provide supervision to Family Support Specialists when needed and LMSW staff or interns.
