HELP for Kids gets $15,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation

HELP for Kids-The Exchange Club Center in Stamford CT, received a $15,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation to help support our HELP for Kids home based programs.

“Our services focus on increasing: child safety in the home, reflective emotional intelligence skills that increase healthy coping and problem-solving abilities, positive parenting skills, and social support systems advocacy for families. These support systems include, but are not limited to, tending to housing, medical, dental and academic needs. Our programs are proven to prevent foster care placement by strengthening the family and keeping the children in the home.”

HELP for Kids Center has helped over 10,000 children and their families, and case studies show a greater than 85% success rate among families served!

As a nonprofit partner and thought leader since 1992, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation brings together passionate people and trusted resources to solve our region’s challenges through innovative, collaborative solutions. Intervention is home based and driven by the family’s strengths. It provides a wide variety of comprehensive services in English, Spanish and Creole. They help stop violence and preserve the family.
